Rules

  1. No smoking of any kind, including marijuana, is permitted inside of the building. Smoking is permitted outside and cigarette butts/ashes shall be placed in metal containers (not provided by NRH). Cigarette butts on the ground, on porches or anywhere else, other than properly disposed of in metal containers, is considered a fire hazard and will be taken seriously.
  2. No candles, incense or other burning devices allowed inside the apartment. Light bulb wax melting devices are allowed, such as scentsy products.
  3. Never remove or tamper with smoke and CO detectors. If they beep continuously, please leave the apartment and call us immediately. If they “chirp” ounce and minute, then they will need a simple battery replacement.
  4. No clutter, boxes, bikes or any other items are allowed in common hallways that are used to exit or enter the building.
  5. Tenants will perform reasonable housekeeping in their premises to maintain them in a clean, neat, and sanitary condition.
  6. No additional people, other than those who are listed on the lease, shall live in the apartment.
  7. Any Gas or charcoal grill shall be used at least 10 feet from the building.
  8. It is a responsibility to notify us immediately, at 207-241- 5018, if there is plumbing leaks, plumbing issues, toilet issues or heating issues. Washers and dryers are not permitted in apartment, unless it is agreed upon in the lease.
  9. Any alternate sources of heat are not permitted in apartment. A few examples are, but not limited to: electric heaters, K1 heaters, gas camping stoves and stove in the apartment.
  10. Personal property insurance is your responsibility. Management and the owners are not responsible for lost or stolen property or injury.
  11. Trash and garbage (including recyclables) always shall be placed in the trash and recycle containers provided by Landlord, and container lids, if any, must be kept tightly closed at all times.
  12. Only human waste and toilet paper is permitted down the toilet.
  13. INVOLVEMENT IN ANY ILLEGAL DRUG ACTIVITY WILL BE AUTOMATIC GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF THIS LEASE/RENTAL AGREEMENT. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
